"It's never boring. Our work scene always changes; it's wherever the powerline goes. So we could be anywhere from working on an underground line in a new sub-division; we could also be up a mountainside.

I think the line trade drew me in because I'm an adrenaline junkie and there's obviously a thrill to doing our job, which obviously ties in with my lifestyle.

I feel I'm needed. We're here to keep the lights on and keep everyone's power on, and it's a pretty satisfying feeling at the end of the day to be working for my province."
